Local Community Support

Leicestershire Cares

This is an employee volunteering initiative that provides opportunities for companies and their employees to make a real difference to communities in Leicestershire.

The Mencap Challenge

In April 2007 a group of Head Office volunteers spent a day at the Leicester MENCAP society centre. Their challenge was to brighten the centre's coffee bar to help attract more clients and encourage people to hire their facilities. The MENCAP society provides a range of service for people  with learning disabilities including: dance, drama, art, cooking, sports and many more activities. Our team got stuck in and completed their latest challenge within our local community of Leicestershire with great results, see below.

Charnwood Primary School

As part of our links with the local community we are in regular contact with Charnwood Primary School, Leicester. From time to time a group of children from the school visit Head Office where they participate in many activities.

Volunteers from Head Office visit the school on a weekly basis to take part in the Right to Read scheme which helps children to learn to read.
